Mission Accomplished!

1. My clothes laid out the night before.
2. The orange thing on my shoe is a sensor, it tracks your exact running time.
3. After the race with my baby who does not like to cooperate when a camera is involved.
4. My treat afterwards- and yes all three were quickly eaten.
The half marathon went really well, I finished in 2 hours and 12 minutes- 45 minutes faster than my best time during training. The race itself was amazing, you definitely get this feeling of adrenaline while running amongst a sea of other people. It is addictive and I'm ready to run another one! If you have every thought about running in a race- do it! If I can train and successfully run in a half marathon in 6 weeks anyone can. Sorry for the lack of pictures, I took some at the actual race with my cell phone but the pictures didn't transfer over when I got a new one.

This photo is a little old now, but this was my baby's first vet appointment. He was so excited by everything he saw and every woman in the place was like putty in his cute little paw. So after running around and eating like 20 biscuits that all the women were feeding him he fell asleep. He slept through the entire appointment and through his shot, the vet said he has never seen a dog sleep through a shot!
Quick Fix

When I used to get new pair of Loubs it was a little conflicting. Grated I couldn't wait to wear them but I knew the second I stepped outside those pretty red soles will get scuffed. So I decided to get zip soles. Now not only will the bottoms stay completely red, they extend the life of the shoe, and it also adds a grip to keep you from busting your ass- so its a win, win ,win situation.
If you're in the Seattle area I recommend Emerald City Shoe Repair. The Nordstrom Flagship Store and many others use them. They do really good work for an affordable price.
