So I have decided to run a half marathon.  The race I chose is only 6 weeks away, which doesn't leave me much time to train.  I have always wanted to run in a race but whenever I would research local races I would find either a race which was 9 months away or like 2 weeks away. Obviously 2 weeks is not enough time to train and 9 months is so far out that it's hard to prioritize it and train accordingly.  So while 6 weeks is short so far it has pushed me to be serious about training.  When I miss a day I feel like I missed an opportunity to better my time, distance and endurance.   I am not much of a running at all but am up to the challenge,so wish me luck!
